Dashcam video from a third vehicle caught the moment the driver of a Nissan Pathfinder tried to leave his parking space but was blocked in by the BMW.

The BMW appears to be stuck in busy traffic at the car park, but the Nissan driver gets out his car to ask the other man to move forward to let him pull out of his space.

He leans through the BMW’s sunroof to chat but the request apparently inflames the BMW driver who seems to tell him to ‘f*** off’, then leaps out his car to confront him.

The two grey-haired men – both dressed in a sunglasses, black t-shirts and jeans and denim shorts – then shout and shove each other before grappling on the ground.

The BMW driver pins the Nissan driver on the ground and appears to berate him for several seconds, pointing angrily in his face.

But he then helps him up and retrieves the other driver’s sunglasses which had fallen off during the fight and hands them back to him.

The BMW driver then returns to his car while the stunned Nissan driver appears to take a mental note of the BMW driver’s rego plate, as the traffic finally starts to move.

Queensland Police said they had not been made aware of the road rage incident.
