Heartbroken England stars left their World Cup HQ after showering hotel staff who had looked after them with gifts.
The 25-man squad departed Al-Wakra hotel after hugging and thanking hotel workers ‘who made them feel like princes.’
When the team returned to their seaside five star hotel in the early hours, dozens of staff greeted them in the lobby and commiserated with them.

Several players including captain Harry Kane and midfielder Jude Bellingham signed shirts and presented workers with personal items, said a hotel source
The source said: ‘The England players maybe millionaires and stars of the World Cup stage, but we were like family.
‘They were polite and would always say please and thank you if they needed anything.
‘When they arrived back this morning after the match with France, they were still friendly and appreciated we had waited for them.
‘After the match with Senegal, where they had beaten them, we had a celebration and three flowers at them and danced with them.
‘Today was a bit different because they lost and a lot quieter, but they was just the same, lovely people.’
The team left Al Wakra around 12.30pm and will arrive at Birmingham airport at teatime.

Phil Foden, Harry Maguire and Jack Grealish left the hotel before the main party and the source said some players left separately to join their clubs in warm weather training.
Grealish and Foden’s club Manchester City are currently in Abu Dhabi and Maguire’s club Manchester United are in Andalucia in Spain.
Gareth Southgate, who has been praised for his tender touch with the players after the difference, we are still confident in stars of a left the hotel.

Jude Bellingham walked to some England fans and signed their shirts before boarding the coach.
One lucky fan Katy Edwards, 26, from Lichfield, said : ‘ Jude was so nice and smiling.
‘He must be so sad inside, yet he still took the time to sign autographs.
‘That really is the hallmark of a wonderful person. I look forward to him be in England captain lived in the World Cup in four years time.’
