As an avid football fan and Chelsea supporter, Mr Dawes had the pool decorated in the team’s honour, tiling their logo on the bottom of the indoor pool.

In 2019, the couple were targeted and robbed, with the criminals making off with £20,000 cash, jewellery and a Range Rover. Following this, the couple moved out of Tom Jones’s former home, moving into this larger and more expensive mansion.

The couple, originally from Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, became Britain’s seventh biggest winners after landing £101million in 2011.

They initially splashed £4.5million on a flat in Fulham, West London, just ten minutes from Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge stadium for football mad Mr Dawes, 56, before buying Tom Jones’ former home.

In 2017 the couple were forced to go to court when Mr Dawes’ son, an Afghanistan veteran, Michael Dawes, 32, said his father was ‘ungenerous in spirit’ after he had cut him out of the will.

A judge ruled at Central London County Court that millionaire father did not need to keep bailing out his son, who burnt through £1.6million in two years, and came back for more, failing to heed his stepmother’s advice to stop eating at the Ritz and go to McDonald’s instead.

He comprehensively dismissed Michael and partner James Beedle’s claim, ruling: ‘There was no basis on which any rational or normal human being could conclude that they could go back for more money whenever they wanted.’

As well as the indoor pool, the property boasts eight bathrooms, five receptions, a large garage and a leisure complex.

‘Set under a glass roof, the pool area is flooded with natural light, with the far wall devoted to wide opening doors overlooking the gardens,’ reads the listing.

‘A gym with sauna and changing facilities completes the leisure complex.

‘A kitchen with fully integrated modern appliances also comes with a breakfast bar, and adjoining pantry and laundry room, and leads through to a breath-taking orangery.’

Standing on 1.5 acres of land, the property offers 13,000 square feet, as well as 900 acres of natural woodland surrounding the property offering luxury and privacy.
