The World Cup’s sexiest fan Ivana Knoll has been swamped by football supporters asking for selfies with her after her beloved Croatia beat Japan on Tuesday – and she trolled the opposition by posting a video of herself eating sushi after the match.
The former Miss Croatia, 30, who has made headlines in Qatar for wearing skimpy clothing, once again posed in her nation’s colours during Croatia’s thrilling Round of 16 win over Japan.

Knoll’s nation triumphed over the Asian powerhouse, winning 3-2 on penalties – having been gridlocked at 1-1 after 90 minutes and extra time.
The World Cup’s ‘sexiest fan’ posed for photos with Japanese fans before the match and was seen doing numerous press interviews after the thrilling showdown.
Taking to Instagram before the match, Knoll taunted the Japanese with a photo of her eating sushi alongside the caption: ‘Japan, we are ready for you!’
After the match, the model shared a full video of her devouring sushi with her 1.2 million fans.
Knoll has been swarmed by fans at stadiums throughout the tournament, having previously sauntered around Qatar in a G-string swimsuit and other eye-popping outfits that could attract trouble in the strict Islamic nation.
Qatar has enforced hard rules around clothing for the World Cup, with women expected to cover their shoulders and avoid wearing short skirts.
There are fines and even jail sentences for fans who flash their figures in the conservative Gulf nation.

Commenting on the potential culture clash, Knoll said: ‘First I was thinking if the World Cup is happening there (Qatar), for sure they will allow us everything to make it comfortable for all fans without any of the restrictions.
‘Then I heard about the rules and I was shocked. The dress code forbids showing shoulders, knees, belly and everything and I was like, “Oh my God, I don’t even have the clothes to cover all of that.”
‘I was super angry because if I’m not a Muslim and if we in Europe respect hijab and niqab, I think they need also to respect our way of life, our religion and in the end me wearing dresses, bikinis because I’m Catholic from Croatia who is here because of the World Cup.’
Knoll did several media interviews after the match with Japan and was asked to pose for selfies with fans from both countries
She added: ‘But when I arrived I was surprised they were not making any problems about dressing, they allow you to wear everything what you want – except in government buildings, and in the end that’s fine.’
Asked if she felt that there was any risk of getting arrested, Knoll said: ‘I am never afraid of something like that.’
Knoll’s beloved side will next play tournament favourites Brazil in a quarter final on Saturday morning.
