All eyes were on the Princess of Wales last night as the royal mother-of-three hosted her second annual Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey – mere hours after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle unleashed fresh bombshells on the Royal Family in the final episodes of their Netflix documentary series.
Amid the ongoing royal controversy, Pippa Middleton made a very public show of support for her older sister when she arrived at the historic London landmark in a burgundy coat – almost identical to one her sibling was wearing.
The mother-of-two, 39, was the spitting image of the Princess of Wales – who was dressed in a sleek burgundy coat dress for the occasion- in her £409 double-breasted woollen piece of outerwear from Karen Millen.
On top of this, Pippa opted for her sister’s signature bouncy blow-dry and finished off her ensemble with some burgundy knee-high leather boots and a taupe suede clutch bag.

Putting forward a united front for the occasion, the Princess of Wales looked sensational in a sleek burgundy coat dress.
Along with a V-neck cut, the Princess’ bespoke garment was cinched in at the waist with two gold buttons.
Just like her sister, the royal mother-of-three turned to suede on the accessories front and offset her coat with a pair of brown court heels.
Pulling her outfit together, Kate completed her look with a matching burgundy croc-effect bag and some suede gloves, which she was pictured holding as she arrived for the event.

Princess Charlotte was her mother’s mini-me in a burgundy knee-length coat with velvet collar

But Pippa wasn’t the only one who supported the Princess of Wales with her choice of outfit.
Zara Tindall, 41, also opted for a very similar burgundy coat, which she paired with some sheer black tights and suede heels.
Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte was her mother’s mini-me in a knee-length, double-breasted burgundy coat with velvet collar while Prince George matched his father Prince William in navy.
However, this isn’t the first time Pippa Middleton has made a show of support for her sister with her choice of outfit.
Pippa Middleton followed in the footsteps of her sister Kate by wearing an almost identical version of the dress first modeled by Kate at the announcement of her engagement to Prince William at Clarence House, in 2010

In 2010, the Princess of Wales announced her engagement to Prince William while wearing a blue V-neck dress by British brand Issa.
Two years later, the Princess’ younger sister was pictured wearing the sell-out frock in pink to attend the wedding of close friend Camilla Hook to Indian Ocean tsunami survivor Sam Holland.
For Princess Charlotte’s christening in 2015, the proud aunt was pictured wearing an almost identical cream coat dress and fascinator as her sister.
What’s more, the stylish sisters both took a liking to a £159 polka dot dress from Whistles in 2018 – when they were pictured wearing the high street frock within one week of each other.
While the then Duchess of Cambridge dressed up the button-down dress with heels and glitzy jewellery, her sister took a more casual approach when she was spotted wearing it with trainers as she pushed newborn son Arthur around in a pram near her London home.
Meghan seen with tears running down her face in the last episodes from the Netflix series
In 2019, Pippa took style notes from her sister again when she wore a blue headband by British designer Jane Taylor to Lady Gabriella Windsor’s wedding.
Just four months beforehand, Pippa’s older sister had worn the oversized red version of the accessory to the Royal Family’s Christmas Day service on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
Pippa’s latest style nod to Kate came just hours after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle delivered fresh blows on the Royal Family yesterday.
Speaking publicly about the infamous ‘Sandringham Summit’ for the first time, the Duke of Sussex claimed Prince William ‘screamed and shouted’ at him after he announced he was quitting the Royal Family with his wife.
Meanwhile, the father-of-two also sensationally claimed that King Charles ‘said things that just simply weren’t true’ after refusing to sign off on Harry’s request for a ‘half in, half-out’ Megxit deal.
