Queen Maxima of the Netherlands joins husband King Willem-Alexander to welcome Italian President


Known to shine with her fashion choices, Queen Máxima debuted a very dazzling outfit during a state dinner in Amsterdam tonight.  

The Dutch royal, 51, cut a feminine figure in a beautiful gold floor-length gown as she and her husband King Willem-Alexander hosted a banquet for Italian President Sergio Mattarella and his daughter Laura Mattarella tonight. 

The Queen of the Netherlands paired the gown with shimmery jewels and a sparkling diamond-studded tiara as well as her blue royal sash. 

Earlier today, she wore a very stylish blue wrap coat with a lime green day dress as she welcomed President Mattarella in Dam Square, marking the start of their three-day state visit.

Máxima looked resplendent in the gown, which consisted of a pleated skirt and long sleeves. 

The beautiful dress was adorned with golden beads which gleamed into the light as she welcomed the Italian delegation to the royal palace. 

She paired the dress with eye-catching jewels, including an impressive necklace made of five rows of pearls and matching pearl earrings.

She also wore a crown studded with pearls for the occasion, and a glamorous makeup with a red lipstick which matched her nail polish.

Máxima’s unusually understated navy attire was brightened up by a silk green, knee-length dress, while first daughter Laura opted for a red and pink ensemble.

Adding a touch of glitz to her ensemble, she donned diamond drop earrings, as well as a smattering of glamorous makeup to her features.

Looking the height of sophistication, the Argentinian-born royal swept her blonde locks neatly behind her ears.

Yesterday, Máxima looked as elegant as ever as she stepped out for a meeting in Eindhoven.

The 51-year-old royal wowed in a striking scarlet gown for a financial health action meeting at the VDL Groep.

Looking typically stylish, she paired the floor-length, long-sleeve gown with burgundy leather boots.

She cinched her ensemble at the waist with a burgundy chunky belt and carried a matching handbag.

The royal accessorised the stylish look with a stunning pair of statement diamond earrings and a silver ring.
