World Cup Confidential: Gareth Southgate has shown he IS the man for the national team job

Gareth Southgate has shown he IS the man to lead the country to Euro 2024 glory and it would be a DISASTER if he quit as England boss, Sportsmail’s experts tell WORLD CUP CONFIDENTIAL

England were eliminated from the World Cup in the most agonising of circumstances as France continued on their path to becoming the first country since Brazil in 1962 to retain football’s grandest prize.

Ian Ladyman, Dominic King and Ian Herbert all argue it would be a disaster for England were Gareth Southgate to walk away from the job now.
